New BL. Yellow Bird

Large root system.

     I bought this, and another Brassavola on a whim. They are also BetterGro brand plants like the cattleya I have previously purchased. I could not resist the fact that is was $5 and in spike!

      Just like all my plants recently, I have repotted it into coconut LECA mix, back into its original 4" green plastic pot. It was HORRIBLY root bound when I tried to unpot and seemed to fit back into its old pot nice and comfortably after snipping some unhealthy roots.

     

     In addition to the spike, there are two new PBs growing at the base. Tiny purple colored nubbins.
